The Moiliili Community Center (MCC) is a private, non-profit agency that provides the residents of Moiliili and surrounding communities with the support, services, and programs to enhance individual, family, and community life.
International Union of Painters and Allied Trades renovate MCC!
In April 2017, the International Union of Painters and Allied Trades held its annual Community Day of Action. Each year, members from district councils throughout the nation and Canada work on projects to better their communities. This year, District Council 50 chose Moiliili Community Center as their focus to make a difference in the community. Members together with signatory contractors re-painted and re-carpeted classrooms throughout our Center. Painting and Decorating Contractors Association of Hawaii - PDCA of Hawaii and PDCA of Hawaii, Associate Member, PPG Paints also contributed by painting classrooms and installing new pavement markings in the parking lots.
A big Mahalo to everyone who helped renovate and beautify MCC!

Important! Please Read!
Moiliili Community Center is asking for the community’s help in the recent vandalizing of our vehicles and graffiti on our walls.
Our center has been servicing the community for 115 years this year.
We are one of the oldest Japanese Language Schools in Hawaii and offer free classes for our beloved seniors so we are looking for help since repair for the damages are so costly and we are just a non-profit organization.
The murals in our parking lot that was painted for our kids over 30 years ago and is irreplaceable. They have been spray painted over in blue and green spray paint. It’s heartbreaking to know that a part of our history is gone this way and so quickly. Even more heartbreaking to have to paint over it.
We are asking for the community’s support and help as well as any information they may have in finding the responsible party(ies) for the damages done to our center.
Please contact Nadine Nishioka, Executive Director at (808) 955-1555 if you are able to help in any way.
With sincerest gratitude.
