             Friendly Staff to Help You                                         Seniors on excursion

Seniors 60 years and older who reside within the areas from Ward Avenue to Hawaii Kai are welcome to join.  Participants gather to socialize, to learn, to obtain services, and to stay active by being involved in Center or Community activities throughout the year.  Recreational, health, and educational activities include excursions, hikes, seminars, classes and special events.  Services provided include information and referral, telephone reassurance, escort and transportation.  The Lanakila Meals on Wheels Program is also located at the Center; seniors partake of a hot lunch as well as join in a number of fun and wellness activities.

This program is subsidized by the State through the Executive Office on Aging and the City and County of Honolulu Elderly Affairs Division.
