A reflection of Moiliili's cultural history, the Japanese language has been taught for many years at the Center. To increase student enthusiasm for learning, the faculty has modified the curriculum and teaching methods. By placing greater emphasis on developing oral communication skills, the introduction of reading and writing is delayed.
