MCC COOKBOOK THE TASTES AND TALES OF MOILIILI is a compilation of interesting recipes submitted by members, volunteers and friends of the the Moiliili Community Center. The recipes, tested in the kitchens of the donors and edited by the Cookbook Committee for clarity and editorial uniformity, reflect the diversity and rich heritage of Moiliili and are printed as submitted. You'll find that we have responded to contemporary trends in cooking without compromising our desire to bring you good local food with the Moiliili flair. We bring to you a treasury of many "old time favorites," updated to meet today's tastes and lifestyle. In addition, some of the tales of Moiliili will be certain to evoke warm memories of a bygone era for many, and for others, a visit into the past. This book represents the efforts of many reflecting the magic of friendship and the joy of sharing.
